16. Beginners Embroidery with Ann Stuart Saturday 6th February 2027

A day to learn lots of embroidery stitches to make a hand sampler and learn the skills required to intergrate into other projects.  Some times it is easier to learn whilst watching someone and I am definitely one of those people.

We learn the basic stitches such as running stitch, back stitch, whipped stitch, blanket stitch, french knot, fly stitch, wheat ear stitch and probably a few more. We will discuss fabrics, threads and needles and have thoroughly lovely day learning to sew and use these amazing embroidery embellishment.

What a great idea from one of our students to stitch her grandson’s hand :)x
